Presents two adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson each accompanied by a section identifying the clues mentioned in the story and explaining the reasoning used by Holmes to put the clues together and come up with a solution. Also includes a map highlighting the sites of the mysteries.
The Adventure of Black Peter, is about a Retired Captain who was harpooned to the wall in his house.
The Gloria Scott, is about the father of Sherlock Holmes friend who in the past committed a robbery crime and was sent in a ship to Australia. During the trip there is a mutiny to which he is made part of it. After surviving he and his friend change their names and tried to forget this past. But suddenly a man show up and scare to death to this pearson.
I like this stories. Easy to follow and the idea of having the clues at the end make the opportunity to discover what was Sherlock Homes reasoning to solve the mystery.

If memory serves (and it is admittedly vague, approximately twenty years after having read it), this was a pretty decent adaptation of Sherlock Holmes for children. At any rate, I believe I liked it at the time I read it, as a child.
