Wow, this is a fast paced ride straight into the depths of hell – literally!
The story starts with Hope, who is a mortal shielder, searching for her chosen mate. Hope’s journey leads her to the lethally stunning Alexander who initially shuns Hope but then realises that Hope loves him as much as he loves her.
The pairs journey is full of blood and gore fight scenes and steamy scenes that burn hotter than the fires of hell.
Elvi’s descriptions of the demons in the book are so vivid that you can picture exactly what they look like and you find yourself wincing at the smell of these disgusting creatures.
Overall the story is fast paced and the dynamic between the lead characters is great, you find yourself wondering if true love will prevail over a prince of hell.

This book caught me from the very beginning. It was refreshingly unique and I loved every word of it. Everything flowed, the plot was cohesive and well thought out. The characters were memorable and strong.
Reader advisory...there are steamy scenes that are hot enough to burn! So tread lightly faint hearted ones. Those with less inhibitions...read on and enjoy the burn!
Alexander and hope sizzled and went through hell (oh yes, pun intended lol) The dynamic between them worked well and only added to the story.
I loved this book and cannot wait for more! Eagerly awaiting the next installment in the Shielders Chronicals. Highly recommend it.

Hold on to your stomachs this is quite the demon roller coaster ride!
I have never read a book that made me want to throw up. This one did. Wait a minute this is a good thing!! Elvi Joy's descriptions of the demons, looks and scents were so good I could smell them. The battle scenes of blood and gore also made me queasy. My heart went out to both Alex and Hope but more times than not, I hated Alex. Is he good or evil? Is he selfish or selfless? Doe he hate or love Hope? Will he kill her or save her? These are the questions that I wanted answers to and made the story of Owned by Hell a great read!
