Integrated Pest Control Management for Apples and Pears
This manual is organized into seven main sections. The first chapter is on fruit growth and development. The second details the general management practices upon which most of the pest management guidelines are based. Chapters on the five major categories of orchard pests follow. Introductions to each chapter explain where and when major pests occur and general monitoring guidelines. Each chapter has detailed descriptions and photographs of individual pests, the damage they cause, and specific guidelines for enhancing natural control factors, designing a monitoring program, and using control actions effectively. The last part of the manual contains a glossary and a list of references and suppliers.
