Hoppy the Cricket is a fast moving, lift-flap book about a cricket who loves to jump, but doesn't look where he's jumping.
Each page, in rhyming lines says "watch out Hoppy or you'll hop into--" with the place he might land hidden under a flap. Some places include an alligator, an owl, and even a sleeping bat.
This book is a fast favorite for young children. The story is simple and the pictures entertaining.
