An American Poet and his friend, an American photographer, team up to create a seminal collection of heartfelt poems, certain to grab you emotionally.
This special edition of WITHOUT FORM WITHIN contains a combination of both English and French versions of my book of poems. It may prove to be an excellent educational book for those studying English or French and especially for those who appreciate poetry.
After publishing twelve works, from deep within me, the innate urge to express myself in an entirely different manner overtook me.
As far back as I can remember, reading poetry has always been a passion. It may well have been one of the key factors in choosing English Literature as my college major.
This collection is the result of exposing my soul and heart in a way I'd never dreamed of doing so.
While my other works in publication are integral parts of me, I now understand that poetry is the essence of who I was, am, and forever will be.
With the understanding that these are my inaugural offerings and with the compassion to allow a heart without and soul within to falter, I hope you enjoy my poems.
Cette édition spéciale, DANS L'ABIME INTERIEUR, contient une combinaison des deux versions françaises de mon recueil de poèmes en anglais. Il peut se révéler être un excellent livre éducatif pour ceux qui étudient l'anglais ou le français et surtout pour ceux qui apprécient la poésie.
Après la publication de douze œuvres, au plus profond de moi, est née l'envie irrépressible de m'exprimer d'une manière totalement différente.
Aussi loin que je me souvienne, la lecture de poésie a toujours été une passion. Elle pourrait bien avoir été l'un des facteurs clés dans le choix de la littérature anglaise durant mes études supérieures.
Cette collection est le résultat de l'expression de mon âme et de mon cœur que je n'avais jamais envisagé de faire.
Alors que mes autres œuvres publiées font partie intégrante de moi, je comprends maintenant que la poésie est l'essence de ce que j'étais, de ce que je suis, et pour toujours serai.
Avec la compréhension que ce sont là mes offrandes inaugurales à la compassion d'un cœur faible et sans âme intérieure, j'espère que vous apprécierez mes poèmes.

About the author

Ron Shaw is an Atlanta, Georgia, native who currently resides in Gwinnett County, Georgia, with his wife and daughter. He attended Roosevelt High School in Atlanta and continued his education at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia for two years. Ron met his future wife in Atlanta after his second year at Mercer and transferred his junior year to Georgia State University.
In 1973, with new responsibilities, he became an Atlanta Police Officer while attending college full time. Ron attained a BA degree in English Literature from Georgia State University in 1974. He retired from the Atlanta Police Department in 1996 after a very fulfilling and prolific career.
He is a prolific author of novels, novellas, novelettes, short stories, poetry, covering many genres such as horror, romance, historical romance, coming of age, humor, paranormal, ghosts, erotica and others.
