I gained a little bit better understanding of Hypnosis but it was hard to get through because the writing style was a tad too serious where the book leans on self help audience it wanted to be a textbook.

I decided to make hypnosis my new hobby. It seemed fun and interesting, so I picked up this book from the library. I really enjoyed this book for about the first 200 pages. It was fun and very informative. It gave great step by step instructions on how to perform hypnosis. Bill and I were practicing on the kids and having a good time. Them I came to the part in the book where he talks about using hypnosis to help people regress into their past lives.... after that, I just couldn't take it seriously anymore. I was very sad and dissapointed, but I couldn't finish ready the book anymore once I read that part.

I checked this book out because I was curious about how hypnosis worked. I learned a ton about what seems like the legitimate part of the practice (relaxation, etc.) but there was whole chunks of the book that were so cuckoo it made the whole book garbage.
