This book is a wonderful introduction to the teachings of Sri Maharaj. It is not a book you read from start to finish in one sitting. Better to read a page or two and think about them. After hearing this gospel of self-realization, it will never be forgotten. As a seed planted in the ground, it will wait for the right season, germinate, and grow into a mighty tree.
This compilation of "I am" quotes will be of use for those that have taken on the spiritual practices of Nisargadatta Maharaj, and particularly the practice related to the abiding in the "I am" (consciousness). The author has taken a number of quotes from transcriptions of NM's talks, and added his own commentary underneath. While I greatly enjoyed reading the quotes and contemplating these, or using for meditation, I also find that the commentary and quotes themselves tend to be repetitive, and also also may require the context in which they were actually uttered (in order to make further sense). Still, this book will appeal to ardent students of NM, and may be of use as secondary material for one's meditations.
