Simple and to the point. Not preachy. Helpful and practical tips. It made sense for me and had a lot of valuable insights. I liked the research links and Jonathan helps you figure out where to start - by measuring your intake and reducing your risks. Then he lists tools to cut back and slow down. Last is an attitude shift to re-think why, how and when you drink and make the final changes that will really stick.
There aren't enough books on moderation for alcohol. This fills the need for this approach.

Short and sweet, this was a well-written and insightful guide. The focus was on me, my feelings, my habits, and what I really wanted to do with my life. This made so much more sense than just 'alcohol is evil.' It's not, I just had a problem dealing with my life and I abused alcohol to get by. I'm done that now and not going back. This little book was great at laying out the steps I needed. I wish it was in hardcopy, it's only an e-book.
