Published in 1996, The Beatles at the BBC : The Radio Years 1962-70 is a worthy addition to your Beatles bookshelf. It chronicles the relationship the Beatles had with BBC radio, an institution that at the time, helped shape popular taste with programs like The Saturday Club. The Beatles were BBC friendly and appeared dozens of times playing live, chatting with DJs or being interviewed about their latest projects. This is an easy to read reference book for those times and contains rare photos, transcripts, background information and of course lists of appearances and lists of songs played.
