In the deepest images buried in humanity's psyche are woven the archetype of Mother and Son. This work does not attempt to devalue or explain the mystery, but uses simple images to depict a real-life snapshot, a celebration if you will, of this timeless relationship. A Mother and A Son is a gift from the husband and father who watched in awe for the ten years unfolded in this work. Selections from thousands of images were carefully arranged into a practical yet beautiful story that is being silently lived the world over. . . the untold powerhouse of interaction without which there would be no humanity. If you are looking for a book of few words that speaks louder than prose, if you love the beauty of a tender bud pushing toward the sun, if you yourself are living this strange but universal saga, A Mother and A Son is for you. Nothing is claimed, nothing is proved, nothing is embellished. All is shown. This gift is for the mother whom it depicts; it celebrates more than life, more than relationship. It is beauty and truth combined; the rose and the thorn that form our souls.
