A wonderful ending

The Witness and Retribution kept me on my toes wondering what would happen next. The twists and turns was amazing but made me realize how much friends mean and are needed in our lives. Another wonderful book.

Retribution is part 2 in this series about Courtney Hartford, a girl who is hiding out until she can testify about a crime she witnessed. The characters are interesting and well developed and the storyline is intriguing and kept me turning pages.

It is refreshing to read a book that has no profanity or sexually explicit scenes. The love scenes written here were tastefully done.

The author did a commendable joy of completing this story, closing all ends and keeping the reader engaged at the same time. This was a quick and enjoyable read. I will look for more books by this talented writer.

Reception

Great ending to the series Witness. I always thought it was the girlfriend who keyed the car. Keying a car is a girl thing.

RETRIBUTION by Christine Kersey part 2 of Witness. Courtney has relocated after seeing a murder, taking Shelby with her. Dylan has worked out a deal, so she doesn't have to testify. Baldy a gang member is still at large, till he's caught, she doesn't feel safe. He's caught, now she has to testify against him, they dropped the murder charge of him trying to kill her
Her and Shelby move, and meet new neighbors, hoping they will help protect them also.. It still doesn't stop, there is more than Dylan and Baldy, will she ever be free, and what about Josh and Shelby. A good plot with twists along the way. Characters were well defined. Good reading for all. Given ARC for my honest opinion and my voluntary review.

This story was the ending of well worth reading its that good

Breaking this story into two books is a real surprise and is also somewhat a let down. If the story was a stand alone or even the beginning of this story I would have enjoyed it just as much. However I do not know how it being such a low threat compared to what she had already experience before i
