This was a really nice book to read and peruse about our beautiful Toronto Music Garden. It was actually really incredible to learn how it was dreamed up and came to be made. Toronto's citizens are just incredible to give something like this to our city. Thanks Yo yo Ma & Julie.

This slender book offers insight into the inspiration and design of Toronto's Music Garden. I'd always wondered about this curious park where I've spent some time meandering, and after seeing a documentary about Yo-Yo Ma (The Music of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble - worth a watch, if you have a chance), I searched and found this book. I'm looking forward to a whole new experience next time I visit the Music Garden. And I'm really hoping to find a lone violinist playing there as hinted in the book, as that sounds like a haunting and beautiful experience on its own.
