I hope part 2 is in the making... I need it.This book left me in my feelings. I hope Blue and Rain get it together for their beautiful baby boy who is by the way deaf and blind but is bad as hell.lol

When I first began reading this book I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I had heard that it was good but even after reading the synopsis I still wasn't completely sold on the book. I am so GLAD that I forged ahead. This book was ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT!!!! The journey that Ms. Armstead took us on was captivating from beginning to end. To watch the love that Chrystal aka Rain and David aka Blue had from the time that they were young children was a beautiful sight. Many times couples that start off young are unable to stay together because the love was puppy love or life just gets in the way, this was so NOT the case for Chrystal and David. While David's heart continued to yearn for Chrystal years after their sweet but sad parting, he lived his life. He bettered himself to honor his adopted mother's legacy. Chrystal however led a very difficult and hard life. Many other people would NEVER have made it to the other side. And yet in spite of everything that happened to the two of them they still came back together like perfectly created jigsaw puzzles that were destined to fit together. The additional characters in the story only helped to add intrigue and substance to the plot that Ms. Armstead so effortlessly fashioned for her readers. I CAN NOT wait for the continuation of Chrystal and David's tale. I'm sure that we will be left gasping much like we were in part 1. KUDOS Ms. Armstead GREAT JOB!!!! I commend you for a job well-done!!! The only thing that I can tell my fellow readers is this story is a true example of the exemplary talent that Krystal Armstead possesses. This was not my first read by this author but I can assure you that it was my absolute FAVORITE!!! Don't miss out because you surely will do yourself a disservice if you pass by this best-seller in the making!!!!!

Love, love, loved it
This book was a real rollercoaster ride of a ride and I loved every word of it. Blue and Crystal had something that started when they were kids, they just didn't know it then. It took them being separated and reuniting to realize it. I love their connection to each other. Kylie needs to go jump off a cliff and take Cam with her. They have secrets dropping left and right. Crystal has been through so much. I hope that her and Blue can get Payton back and have a happy ending, but I know that there is still some secrets that are yet to be revealed and I am highly anticipating part 2.

First off this book has it all, alpha, hoes, reform hoes, hoes who don't want to be hoes, twist and turns ,revenge, dancers, strippers, forgiveness, love, pregnancy, babies, secrets.. and a whole bunch of other ish...
I want to see more time spent with Payton... I was actually hoping to see more of them all together.. but didn't get that treat.
So now I have to wait for freaking book 2... BLAH
ONLY pet peeve... the mixed color eyed chicks and how they were continuously referred to as "beyond beautiful" right after the descriptions... Just a personal pet peeve.. Not a fan of overly perfect looking characters

ALL I CAN SAY IS WHAT A STORY!!!!
This is my first time reading something from this author and ALL I CAN SAY IS WHAT A STORY!!!! I couldn't put this book down from anything. This was definitely a page turner!!! Blue and Chrystal aka Rain are made for each other!!! Oh I love their son!!! So much is going on and I don't want to say too much but S**t is definitely about to get real!!!! They have woken the beast back up!!!!!

This story was fill with love and lies. Kylie is one crazy person and think that she is really upbto something. I'm actually rooting for blue and Chrystal I think they are made for each other. Even though she went through a lot I still like her she a person that was broken down. I can't wait for part 2 because I know it about to be a war.

Ever wanted someone with every fiber of your being, but they were taken? Ever wanted someone and didn't care what it took to be with them? Ever did everything in your power to be with that person regardless of the circumstances?
Blue and Chrystal are the best of friends. They have been Bonnie and Clyde from day one of their meeting. Blue loves Chrystal with every fiber of his being. Chrystal loves Blue the same way. They never acted upon those feelings until Blue was moving away. He finally breaks down and tells her how he feels. They become intimate and then part ways.
Blue moved away and became a different person. Circumstances changed his perspective in life and he got knee deep in the streets. He had to transition from the streets to becoming a college professor. He was trying to make a change in his life. He eventually got married but kept Chrystal in his heart always. His love for her outweighed everything, even his wife. There was a never a day that went by that he didn't think of her. Blue goes to a party with his homeboy and this is where the story picked up in action. He sees Chrystal after several years and turns the party out.
Chrystal has gone through the fire after Blue left her. Chrystal has become an exotic showcase, from dancing to sexing, she does it all. She has definitely walked a path that she didn't see herself walking and running into Blue showed her that. She's not proud of what she does, but she does it with goals in mind. She is supporting two households and ensuring that her son has the best future. Chrystal loves Blue with everything she has and beyond.
The chance meeting between these two sparks a fire that has been burning on low for several years. The flame rises up and these two are feeling the burn. Blue is ready to throw his marriage to the wolves all for the love of Chrystal. Everything is not what it seems in their worlds. They have endured loss, hurt, love, and host of other elements. Can they keep it together?
Armstead made this body of work realistic and vivid. I felt the emotions of all the characters and some of he subject matter while touchy was authentic. The events really do happen in real life, maybe not our own, but they do happen and I am rating four stars.

Wow
I loved how Blue loved Chrystal unconditionally. I hope Kylie and Jam gets everything coming to them. I like how the author made me feel Chrystal trials and tribulations. It's a damn shame how their so called friends and family did them. I can't wait for Blue to confront his mom. As usual the author takes you through emotions that you weren't prepared for. I can't wait for part 2.

I love this author. She has become one of my fav newbies. Every story she tells always be different from the last. Never giving you the same ole drama. Her stories always leave you wanting just a little more. She definitely puts her own spin on urban romance.

I'm am so glad that Blue and Crystal found each other again i hope they will be together always thanks to the author for making the story to the point not a lot of the characters keeping they feelings hidden they don't hesitate to let each other know how they feel about each other i love it!

Loving the series
Whew this was a little tear jerker for me . It’s so many secrets and what ifs I had to run to read book two. This is the first series that I have read book 1 and 2 then decided to write my review. I knew that Blue’s wife wasn’t doing right early in the game. What I’m not sure is if Crystal and Blue’a love can salvage these wounds that have been caused.

I thought this was a good read and I'll be reading book 2, but I do wish that the author had expounded more on Crystal and Blue's son's nystagmus because saying he's blind, but then having him act and do things that only a seeing person can do made it seem ridiculous

Excellent Read!!!
This book what can I say about it girl you did your thing. I was thinking it was gonna one way but it way all around another way. Blue and Chrystal all the way I could relate to some of the issues they had. Kylie I knew her ass was sneaky from the start. Kam something just didn't seem right with him. But that ending who would have thought. Am ready to see how much of a Beast Blue can be. Part 2 please hurry.

Amazingly good
Krstyal Armstead is one of the best authors thus far. Whenever I think she can't out do the last she surpass that. This series is fire i tell you and from beginning to the end I couldn't get enough. It was emotional it was sex it was drama it was hood everything I could ask for and more. I recommend you cop all her books you won't be disappointed.

Very Good
I really enjoyed reading this book. Blue wasn't your typical thug. He made a life for himself. I loved his relationship with Chrystal when they were younger. They had a love that was forever. I am not going to give the story away . This book was very good. Don't make us wait to long for pt 2.

Satisfied Reader
I absolutely loved this story. Blue and Crystal were childhood friends who were destined to be together. He was the bud to her rose. I didn't like Kylie nor Kam. Payton is a very smart kid. Robyn and Darius are good for each other. Things are about to get real and I can't wait to go on that journey. Great Job

What an amazing story line
Krystal gave you everything in this book. Hell blood sweat and tear. It caught your attention from the first page. Blue has a lot of pinned up frustration. His past will catch up and make sense to him but I hope its not to late. His and Crystal will be tested I sure hope they can ride the rough waves

This was my first time reading something from this author. The book was crazy my thing was how deceitful Kylie was towards Blue. Blue loved him some Crystal they are meant to be together. It was a good book all in all. I was totally shocked to find out that Payton was Crystal and Blue son blew me away. Great job once again.
