Né le 15 juillet 1956 à Ixelles, Frank Pé effectue trois années d'Arts plastiques à l'Institut Saint-Luc de Bruxelles et publie sa première "Carte blanche" dans SPIROU en 1973, avant de s'attaquer à un récit d'aventures exotiques intitulé "Comme un animal en cage", sur scénario de Terence (Thierry Martens), le rédacteur en chef de l'époque.

Frank Pé, geboren op 15 juli 1956 te Elsene, volgt drie jaar beeldende kunst aan Saint-Luc in Brussel en maakt in 1973 zijn eerste "Vrij Vel" voor ROBBEDOES, om daarna een exotisch avonturenverhaal te beginnen, getiteld "Vincent Morres: Achter tralies", op scenario van Terence (Thierry Martens), de toenmalige hoofdredacteur.

+8 page illustrated dossier with commentary
Interestingly, this vivacious and beautiful female lead, instead of usually becoming more endearing to me as the story progresses, has pushed my feelings in the other direction to be my least favorite of the main cast! Her tantrum over selling a sculpture, instead of appreciating that money needs to be made to keep her utopia running, was a great way of demonstrating what a clueless child she is being, needing everything to be perfect in her home, despite horrid war nearly next door.
The cover is far too dark.

Ach, de tragiek slaat toe. Het geweten komt op de proppen, een vertrek is nakend. De tekeningen en inkleuringen laten sterk aan Francois Schuiten denken.
