Church in the Twentieth Century

Rate this book
The twentieth century has been extremely significant in the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. To have lived in the days of Joseph Smith and associate with him personally would have been wonderful. Or to have been a part of the unforgettable experience of the pioneers as they traveled westward. Yet the challenges and opportunities of the twentieth century hold a unique excitement. Not only in its worldwide growth, the church has seen many other significant developments in Church organization, programs, and activities. Even though the Lord has worked through fallible human beings and institutions, His hand can be seen. Not merely in specific incidents where inspired guidance was obvious, but also in the overall progress of his kingdom during the present century.
