When Josephine Ann Clemente is forced to travel from Virginia to Texas by train to meet the man her father has arranged for her to marry, she soon finds out that Texans can sometimes be too much to handle. When she meets a nosy traveled named Emmet Stone, she spends the remainder of her journey trying to avoid him. Little does she know, however, that he will soon cross her path again.
Josephine, not one to let one bad apple ruin the bunch, decides to overlook her run in with Emmet and focus on who really matters – her fiancé, Donovan. Josephine isn't quite sure how she is going to adjust to Donovan’s ranching way of life, but she gives it her all.
