Blocks inspired by Bible verses spanning the entire Bible.
After attempting a block I am lowering my rating. The cd is a hassle to use...opening multiple files to print piecing templates then directions on how to actually do paper piecing. The instructions weren’t absolutely straightforward. I had only attempted paper piecing once before and found it more of a trial and error with the instructions given. And paper piecing...so wasteful of fabric! I looked at the pieces that could be cut by rotary cutter...very few, and I didn’t find a single block that could be entirely cut by rotary cutting.
So while I like the idea, I would never make the whole book of blocks due to the waste involved in paper piecing.

This is the first quilt I have made using paper piecing that isn't a square, it is lots of smaller pieces sewn together to make the square. Lots of Y seams, which I have now mastered. Seems some of the paper pieces are not correct - i.e. the outside points match but the inside may be off in one section.
