The enchanting timeless classic of the wicked witch and the prince who parts a forest to rescue the princess comes to life with pop-ups, pull tabs, life-the-flaps, and a red ribbon closure.
This was one fairytale I had not previously read. I really do not remember most of this story because I did not watch this movie very often, but I am glad I picked it up. I really like it and I wish I would have read it or watched the movie more as a child. This story does not really have a very different idea than most princess stories, but I think since it is a less ocular one, it would be fun to have this as an option for the students to read. They could use stories like this to compare with other princess stories. I think young girls around 1st or second grade could really enjoy that.
