Valerie has known Shawn for as long as they could remember. Another great read by Alycia!!! I was sucked into this book from the first chapter. There are so many twists and turns that this book kind of gives you whiplash but it keeps all the more invested. There were a handful of sex scenes but I think this is one of the very few I have read that show it in a tasteful way.
Val and Shawn have been best friends for as long as they can remember. Val lost her father when she was younger and Shawn's mom although still alive wants nothing to do with him. So when their parents end up getting together and getting married it just seemed to kind of fit. But after the marriage things changed between Val and Shawn. They weren't really the best of friends anymore and drifted apart slowly.
Can they get their friendship back? What happens when lines are crossed? Take a ride on a roller coaster of a ride with Alycia's stepbrother bestie book and find out. It will have you literally yelling NO, OMG, and seriously at your kindle.

Unique storyline
This is an interesting story. It has a lot of the pieces of a stereotypical step brother romance but it also has a twist that I have never read before. Worth reading for sure.

What to say that won't spoil.... childhood best friends turned to step siblings but their is one problem they always had more then just friendship, their had love, but they had to tramp down on that... both have their toxic relationships with wrong people.... but love will find a way to survive.
