New 가나다 Korean is an integrated textbook aimed at improving communication skills. Vocabulary and grammar are arranged considering the degree of difficulty and the frequency of use by stage. We use pictures and photos as much as possible to maximize efficiency in studying. It also consists of all situations that foreigners may face in Korea. Students could learn and practice new things effectively through this book and use them in real life. We sincerely wish that this book will be helpful for people who would like to learn Korean as well as a guide for people who teach Korean. The book was published based on the abundant education experience by Ganada Korean Institute. We promise that we will make a constant effort to develop Korean education and teaching materials.

A very grammar-heavy book with a few ways to practice (even with the workbook). I honestly had a hard time retaining the grammar as some parts were poorly explained or didn't offer explanations for irregulars or difficult patterns. The answer key is great but I noticed some answers were almost more difficult than the grammar at hand. I would not order the next in the series especially for a self-learner. Might be a good grammar reference book for those that are already familiar with the grammar.
