Another short book that I decided to pick up and read while I waited for a client.
It has a simple message really, it costs nothing to be kind yet it leaves a net positive mark on others and the world. The rest of the book is the many ways that one can be kind physically, financially, socially, spiritually, etc...
I appreciated that the author did not prescribe a specific way to be kind but rather suggested the many ways that kindness can manifest in our lives. The quotes, examples, and stories were all inspiring and uplifting spiritually.
https://www.randomactsofkindness.org This was a cute book but some of the inspirations and kindness I found a little off. Like the advice to 'make your family their favorite meal'..... hmmm okay? But whatever kindness the world can give is good I guess. Some of the stories of kindness throughout history were really interesting. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/...
A slim volume but a good one. Brings kindness and good deeds to the front of your mind. It's a pleasant reminder of the great things humans can do, when they put their minds to it.
