Provides information on ways to develop an inclusive classroom, covering such topics as coteaching, team building, creating personalized learning agendas, and writing behavior plans.
This was a fantastic reference for someone starting to learn about inclusive education. Three volumes offer practical suggestions for differentiating instruction, collaboration, and behavior supports. I took away a few nuggets that will be particularly useful, and can see myself coming back to these books again for more ideas.
3.5 stars really. I found the most benefit from part two. The rest of the book was more of a special education 101 overview.
I think someone new to the field or inclusion would get more out of the book. It's still a nice resource and has some good reminders of strategies to implement.
