I found this book to be simple, yet practical. It was easy to read, not overwhelming as far as information is concerned, but provides the reader with just enough to get a solid footing as to what one may expect upon receiving their initial diagnosis of having lupus. I much more preferred this than my first Rheumatologist who advised me to just research lupus online. The horror stories ran from one end of the spectrum to the other. A basic understanding of "How To Live With Lupus" is certainly a lot more helpful and recommended.

Very good
Some good information, but may be out dated on some treatments. Gives lots of good coping advice. Lupus is not fun.

Pretty basic information on SLE. The Dietary changes and advice us quite good as there is not very much put there so it was helpful to know what to avoid and look out for when it comes to foods but everything else was a pretty much standard knowledge. I would definitely recommend this book to non-lupus people as it explains it perfectly
