When the vicious Swill family--nine brothers and their father who control the town of Les Bois--begin abducting women to keep them company, Skye Fargo, the Trailsman, steps in to teach them a long-overdue lesson. Original.
This was my first time reading the series and I had heard it is a bit uneven with some entires being great, some good and some not good. I'm not sure where this book ranks amongst others but I thought it was ok. There were some great parts of the book and the main character is good with enough depth to be interesting. I was letdown with the end, it was too fast and really needed a good denouement from the climax. I understand how these books are written and they follow a story bible but this book needed another chapter to wrap up everything. I will try another entry in the series and then decide to stick with it or not. Right now I feel the Longarm series is superior in many ways.
