This contemporary romance takes place in Hollywood and stars Sean and Caitlin. Both actors on a television program about Greek mythology, Sean's place in the show is clear, playing Eros for a few seasons while Caitlin is his new love interest, Psyche. But while this is a small role for Caitlin, it's another stepping stone towards full time stardom, as she's also gotten recognition for her latest small movie role, not to mention singing with an up and coming band. Getting used to the public's attention is just part of the deal, though when she and Sean start dating, it becomes clear that some fans aren't too pleased with their on-screen relationship starting up off-screen too. Can their new love withstand the outside forces set against them?

I enjoyed this story. In particular, I really liked Caitlin's character. She's got her finger in all sorts of pies - music, movies, tv and it's been a long struggle for her to get noticed. Finally her hard work is paying off and showing results. She was a very likable, friendly woman. She's got to make some tough choices, as her fame rises and she realizes she won't be able to keep up with all the media she's involved in. Her co-star Sean is a more seasoned actor, and as a result, a bit of a playboy. He's got a reputation for not settling into a committed relationship with anyone. Caitlin is different though. He's been trying to get a date with her since he first met her, prior to their working together on the show. But she's been pretty clear about keeping things between them professional. However, when he finally gets the chance to escort her to a work function, they connect on a more personal level and she decides to give him a chance. There were times when I thought Sean's behavior was a bit childish, and I suspect this is a consequence of him always getting what he wants, and not having that with Caitlin. His jealousy of her friendships with other men put me off sometimes too. But they do share an attraction to each other and end up happily together. I appreciated that he realized quickly that she wouldn't put up with any nonsense from him, and that he was supportive of her career. There was a suspense plot throughout the story, a stalker angle realistic to their situation as Hollywood stars. It added a good amount of tension to the story. Overall, a good read. Now if only I could watch the tv show! 3.5 stars.

Lesson No. 1 in life. Don’t ever shit on your own doorstep. That is one of the main rules that I have stuck to and I did once break that rule and believe me that was awkward.

All in all I give it 3 ‘I wish I would have liked it more’ Stars.

I am going somewhere with this so please just bear with me. As an author Ms. Rush writes well and I have read some enjoyable books by her. This to my utter dismay isn’t one of them.

I don’t mind the whole shindig of actors/romance etc. and throughout the book I was seriously trying to pinpoint what made this so hard for me to read and this morning I had a light bulb moment. You just don’t shit on your own doorstep. See my number one rule above.

As a Hero Sean Glenn was nice enough and he is a ginger (yes there are apparently good looking gingers out there ladies) He is an actor on the set of Olympus a TV show. He has been lucky when it came to his career.

I’m conflicted about Caitlin the heroine of the book. There is no nice way to say this but I. DID. NOT. LIKE. HER. ONE. EFFING. BIT.

Sean cleans up his act as he is a bit of a man whore, Hollywood it apparently happens. He hasn’t really been that discreet about it either. He sees Caitlin at a volleyball tournament and he is in lust. IT helps that Caitlin gets a role on the series of Olympus and that she plays his love interest.

I felt that they were lacking in chemistry somewhat at least and that Cait was only really interested in her career.

I think that one stalker would have been enough but hey the guy is popular so he got more than one.

Will there be books based on the band Charlie Oscar Echo?

I enjoy Ms. Rush’s books and I will check the others out.

Book was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.

The fourth book in the “Hollywood to Olympus” series features Sean and Caitlin. This book is best read as part of the series, but would probably do well as a stand alone. Just know that you will understand what's happening regarding the interactions of the characters much better if you've read them all.
I was really looking forward to this story, having liked the two characters, Sean and Caitlin, as we have gotten to know them up to this point. Sean is a bit of an easy going type of guy, who hadn't planned on being a celebrity but fell into it with his charm and good looks. He's also got a long reputation as a player. Caitlin starts out at a place where her career is just coming together. She wants the fame and glory and to be known as the big star at the top of the heap.
Sean plays Eros in the Mount Olympus TV series, which is starting its fourth season. Caitlin was cast as a temporary character at the end of season three, in which she plays Eros's love interest. For season four, her character's role has been made permanent on the show. Caitlin is also the female lead and bass guitarist in what had started as a garage band, Charlie Oscar Echo, between her and some of her military brat buddies while growing up. But the band is starting to take off and getting some real notice. And Caitlin also had a small role in a movie over summer break. It wasn't a big part, but it was a big movie, and she had about a ten minute speaking role. So she is being noticed for that, too. She is ready to really break out big.
Sean has been smitten with Caitlin ever since she started playing opposite him on the TV set. But his player reputation precedes him, and he can't seem to get Caitlin to go out on a date with him. He keeps trying to tell her he's changed. Finally she agrees to go out with him to a public appearance event for the show. But Sean has two different women chasing after him there, one a woman he used to date and the other an overzealous fan. Caitlin isn't necessarily looking for a long term relationship, but she doesn't do one night stands, either. Sean needs to prove he really has changed and wants something more with her.
Just as things are finally getting off the ground with them, it becomes apparent that Sean has a stalker. As much as he wants to be with Caitlin, he also wants to be sure she is safe, and doesn't want to endanger her by their being together. It seems they just can catch a break.
I had mixed feelings about these characters after I got to know them a little better. Sean, I just continued to like more and more as he matured and tried to be everything for Caitlin that she needed him to be. Caitlin, on the other hand, was someone who I had started out liking, but the more I got to know her, she seemed to be too self-centered and career oriented, and almost a bit unfeeling. While I can believe that Sean fell in love with Cait, I'm not so sure that she really loved him back, even though she said she did. My personal feeling is that she'd only love him back as long as it was convenient and expedient for her to do so. I'd be curious to see just how long this relationship would last if these were real people.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable story. There was definitely a lot of suspense mixed into it with the stalker issue, which got more and more dangerous and deranged as the story went on. And I didn't figure out “who dun it” until it was all solved, so I congratulate the author on keeping up the suspense. It was also interesting to see some of the seedier sides of fame and what people who have chosen acting and those types of careers have to go through. It definitely isn't all glamorous, and it made me glad to just be a regular person.
I also enjoyed the ongoing interpersonal relationships between the cast of Olympus and the group of female friends who have been lucky enough to become the girlfriends of the cast. I'm looking forward to what happens next in this series, and still waiting for the TV show to come out. I want to watch it!

This was the first book I've read in the Hollywood to Olympus series, and I will be going back to read the others.

I love how this book starts. Practical jokester Sean has just played a prank on two of new members to the TV series Olympus family. He's running away from them and then you get "Surprise! Welcome to the show!" New girl Caitlin laughs at the prank, but then looks at Sean and says "game on cowboy". I knew right then I would love this book.

Caitlin is a woman that has been struggling in Hollywood for years. She's had bit parts and has finally landed a recurring role on the popular TV series, Olympus. One of the other cast members, Sean, has been lusting/crushing after her for about a year, when she was on for three episodes the previous season. Now he views it as his chance to be with her like he's been dreaming about. Only thing is, she seems to be too busy (she has another job that you find about later on). Not only that, but then he suddenly acquires a stalker, adding more things that seem to try and derail his plans of dating Caitlin. There is a lot of drama with the stalker issue Sean has, but so much chemistry between the two MCs. The stalker issue kept me on edge trying to figure out who it was...loved that!

I really enjoyed this story, how the characters interacted, and the drama. Usually it seems like the female lead is the one with the stalker, so it was refreshing to see the shoe on the other foot, and how differently a guy handles the situation versus a woman. Great read and now I have to go back and read the first three books!!

I received an Arc from the author for an honest review

I hadn't read any of Elle Rush books and was pleasantly surprised.
I also hadn't read the previous books in the series and its not necessary as this can be read as a standalone.
This is a contemporary romance which is very well written and very detailed so your imagination kicks in and you can follow the story very easily. The suspense in the book kept me wanting to know who done it and although your trying to find reason to why or who is Sean stalker its refreshing to know its not who you think it is lol and again was surprised.
I enjoyed reading Sean story and although its based on a actors the story doesn't go OTT on the Greek show they do.

thoroughly enjoyed it has romance suspense and very entertaining.

well done Elle Rush looking forward to reading more of your books

It Girl is #4 in Elle Rush's Hollywood to Olympus series. This is the first book I've read by Ms. Rush. I enjoyed this book, although it took me several chapters to really get into it. I didn't feel much chemistry between Sean and Caitlin, at least at first, but it did get better as I read. I'm glad Caitlin was able to take some of the challenges with Sean in stride. Sean felt a little too old to me to get trapped like he did, but he ended up growing up a lot in the book. I'd be interested in reading more about Charlie Oscar Echo.

I received an Arc from the author for an honest review

This was my first book by Elle Rush, it is the 4th in the Hollywood to Olympus series, though it can be read as a standalone.

It is a fun run with a who done it element. Sean is very likable from the beginning, trying his best to win over Caitlin. Caitlin is very independent, some times to a fault, that made her not quiet as likable as Sean at times.

Will be putting more of Elle Rush's books on my TBR list.

I was given an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. Caitlin is the newest addition to the series Olympus and has caught Sean's attention. Can they survive stardom, stalkers and misunderstandings. Love and trust can bring two people together and overcome even the worst obstacles. Loved it and can't wait for the next book from this author.

I really liked this story a lot. The review from Maria Rose pretty much says it all for me. I like this one the best so far. I had two issues with the story though…there were some editing issues (not tons, but a few) but they were distracting. The other issue I had wasn’t a big for most people, but I could tell Ms. Rush didn’t really know anything about college basketball since Sean took Caitlin to a game and they were waiting for the third quarter to begin. College basketball is divided into halves, not quarters like professional basketball. I might not have cared so much but I’m watching March Madness right now, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This was a lovely book that I enjoyed completely. It was fun to see the story continue for characters we met in previous books.
I just loved how the story flowed: I was caught up in it immediately.
I would absolutely recommend this series and this author to someone who loves an interesting happily ever after with just a touch of heat.

In this latest instalment of the Olympus series, Elle Rush turns up the heat by a hundred degrees! This ain't your grandma's sweet romance, that's for sure.

There's also more than a little intrigue and mystery as one of our favourite Greek gods is stalked by a deranged fan, putting his new relationship with his cute co-star at risk.

I really enjoyed this book. Sean and Caitlin have great chemistry. I'd love to see more of them!
