Klooz: The Puzzle of the Power Drain is about a young detective who figures out who is cutting the wires on a merry-go-round that has come to town with the carnival. Klooz is an amiable character balancing school work and detective and all the while needing his his Carpenter 19s gum to stay focuse. It 19s a cute story that is fun and enjoyable. As my first foray into Ebooks, it took a bit of time to get used to the form, but once I did it was easy to read. The book is peppered with occasional illustrations that accent the book nicely. Klooz would be great for a reader who is ready to move beyond early readers and ease into chapter books.
