This book contains 4 short stories per category. For example, under Diligence you'd find a story from the Bible, one story about diligence in the home, one for at school and one at play. And by short I mean one page each, with an illustration opposite.
The main reason I didn't love this book is because they tend to beat the moral over your head. The language is a bit too simplistic, almost like the child is too dumb to understand if written differently. I think a child should be allowed to make connections on their own, and to think about the story and find the moral on their own. If it's hand-fed to them, or forced down their throats, the moral will not become their own.
The book also teaches Christianity in a way which is different from our view of it. I don't feel that makes the book bad, just not usable for our family.
