Good

I really enjoyed this series. I'm glad I managed to get the complete saga and tag it add one long piece rather than in sections.

Great characters. Great storyline. It was gritty, and well structured.

Looking forward to the next in the series.

I fell head over heart for Boone and Olivia. What these two go through to be together...holy hell. What a ride their story is. What starts out as a way to get revenge ends up being one hell of a love story. Olivia suffers much both at the hands of a fire bug, but even more so at the hands of a crazy biker. My heart broke for all that she went through. Boone. Oh. My. Word. What a delish naughty talking bossy biker man. I loved the kink that played in their relationship. I loved the nod to Overboard and adored Boone's boys. I most definitely want more of Rowdy. Yes, please.

I give The Scorched Souls Series 5 hearts!

Olympia Olsen

I don't know who I am. I don't know where I am. What I do know: I don't trust Boone Richards, my supposed husband. It doesn't matter how damn sexy he is; I refuse to give in to his demands.

How could I marry someone like him? A biker who acts like a caveman on steroids and calls me his "old lady." What the-? Our kids, this life, this MC...it’s all wrong. I don't belong. The problem is, I can't remember anything. If this really is my life, it's no wonder I want to forget.

Did I mention someone is trying to kill me, and Boone is the one person standing between me and a fiery death?

Boone Richards

What started out as a way to get even has turned into so much more. I want to touch her. Taste her. Own her. I want to make Olympia mine. If I do, and she remembers, things are gonna go from bad to worse.

The club is my life, my brothers are my family. I can't afford to be sidetracked by a woman, but it's hard not be distracted with her looking like that, talking like that, and shaking her sweet ass like that. What I do know: taking Olympia has changed everything, including me.

Protecting her from a murdering arsonist has become my obsession. I'll destroy anyone who tries to hurt her.

OMG! I love MC books but this one was great. I couldn’t put it down. I laughed and fell I in love with this characters. Do I think what Boone did to Olympia was what she needed but in this case it reminded me of Overboard. That was so funny for what he did to her. How can you not laugh. This is my first time reading a book by this author and I hope to read many more from her. I can’t wait to see if there will be more from these characters in future books.

Wow! I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review.
I had a difficult time putting this one down. It is definitely not a sweet story it leans more towards the darker aspect. I love biker romance and even a bit more when it includes the gritty side. This had all of those elements and more. Great Read!

Firetrap - Olympia is the spoiled socialite daughter of the town's Mayor. Boone is a volunteer firefighter with the town's fire department and a member of the Soul Scorchers MC. He is there helping put out the fire the day that Olympia's mother's house burns down with her inside. How does this affect Olympia and the Mayor? What does the Mayor do for Olympia for her birthday? Who does she get engaged to? What other types of jobs/work does Boone do? Boone's old man is the President of the MC and he's the VP. Grinch is the money man of the MC. What happens when Boone is at the night club, heading into the Dungeon part of their club and his cell phone goes off. What does he find out? Where does he rush off to so quickly. When he gets where he is going, there is destruction, ruin, and death yet again. Who is missing? Where are they? What happened? What happens when Boone finds Olympia out in the middle of the forest, with two 'goons' talking loudly enough to be heard, but they don't spot Olympia? Who are they and why are they looking for her? Who is after her? Where is her father? Who is Pyro? Is he with a club and if so, which one?

Firefight - What exactly does Pyro want from the mayor? What has happened that is causing Pyro to burn down the city, and try to take the Soul Scorchers with him? Who exactly is he? Other than a firebug, what is he? In book 1, we watched Twila poke her sorry nose into places where it did not belong with regards to Olympia, aka Sally. When Olympia is finally given some photographs to prove her relationship with Boone, what happens? What about with the boys there at the cabin with them, when she tells them she had a couple of new memories about her past? What happens? When Boone and Olympia are fishing, what do they find? Why do they head back to the clubhouse earlier than anticipated? Is it going to be safe for Olympia? Boone gets called to the Police department for questioning from Conner Mills with ATF and an agent from the FBI. What happens during that interview? What is Conner trying to do? What does the FBI agent think from what we can tell as a reader? Then, when that interview is done, Boone heads off to the Mayor's house to chat with him. A strange man walks into the room as the Mayor is about to say something. The mayor clams up. Boone tries to get a name out of the guy and gets nothing. Who is it? Is it Pyro or one of his goons? One morning, Olympia has slipped out of bed after Boone's accident in the fight ring. Who does she find in the bed with Boone when she returns? What happens next? Where does Crusher take her? What happens when she reports to her new job on day one? Who takes her after she injures her ankle getting out of the window to follow the students into the woods? Who attacked the school? Hopefully these questions will soon be answered!

Firestorm - Where is Olympia at? Who is Pyro? What is it that keeps niggling at Boone when he sees the guy in different disguises? Why did Ringo take Olympia? What does he have in store for her? Is Ringo also Pyro? When Ringo goes off the rails and disappears, what does Rowdy, his club President do? Where does Rowdy take off to with one of his guys that has his own guys on standby, that are not related to the club? What 'things' does Rowdy finally put together? What do Bones and Boone decide to do in regards to their 'moles' even though they do not know for certain who the moles are? Who do they suspect? Does Rowdy find Olympia, and Ringo before it is too late or not? What is Boone doing with Olympia being gone? What does his father basically order him to do? Does he do it? How do his boys feel about the situation? By the end of the third book, I have an idea of who 'Pyro' might be. I cannot wait until the fourth book to find out if i am correct. Will Boone and Olympia ever manage to get back together? Will she call things off with Conner? Can Olympia make it through the recovery process of what Ringo did to her? Read and find out what happens.

Fireworks - When Olympia and Boone stop to rest, what happens at the hotel? Where are they? Who else is there? What happens when they hear a car out front and hear the back door's knob rattle a bit? What does Boone tell Olympia to do? Who shows up then? What information does Olympia's Godfather tell Boone? Watching Ringo and Pyro team up is nothing short of twisted and creepy and makes me shudder in unimaginable ways because of the depravity that each of them has alone. Bones seems to be giving Rowdy, a rival club's president some leniency and leeway. What is going on there? Why does he seems to be playing favorites when things come to Rowdy? Will Boone and Olympia make it through this? What is going on with her with-drawls? Who is on the other end of the phone when she gets a phone call at the nurse's station in the Burn ICU while Boone and his mother are visiting his father? Man, there are so many different things going on with this series, it is just incredible. You are going to have to read this series on your own to find out answers to the questions and find out how the series ends at least thus far. Don't know if there will be more, but I hope so.

Looks like I'm in the minority here on my opinion of this book. Obviously others really enjoyed it. Not so much into angtsy books with bratty (h's). Just not my cup-o-tea I guess.

WOW...first time for me to read anything by this author (although she says she uses two different names so who knows if I have read her under the other name)...and it was quite exciting. So much so, that I pretty much read the entire thing in one sitting because it kept my interest and I just HAD to know who Pyro was and how things would turn out with Boone and Olympia/Sally.
Mix up a mystery about a firestarter who is burning down and killing much of a small town's residents, an MC romance with a very bossy biker who is into some hardcore BDSM, some serious father/daughter and father/son drama and you have Scorched Souls in a nutshell. It was at times extremely violent (so much so that one scene almost made me stop reading for a bit), heavy into the kinky Dom/sub scene and full of a murder/mystery plot that spanned over several years.
I really thought it was quite a thrilling read and contained all the elements I like in my biker books with a few unique twists. Grab it while it is only 99 cents for the entire series.

I am a huge fan of MC stories and am always on the lookout for something new. As soon as I started reading this, and reached a certain point in part 1, I instantly thought of the film 'Overboard'. The way the story goes is recogniseable to anyone who has seen the film.

The story did flow well, there were a few points where I did think it was a little bit far fetched, but all in all it was a good read.

There are a few things which set this apart from other MC reads. The sexual preferences of the main male character aren't what you would expect. He has certain needs and a means of fulfilling them.

There is also a mystery story running through all four parts of the book. With each book we find out a little bit more, but all is not revealed until nearer the end. I enjoyed this part of the story, and only guessed who the culprit was right before the author shared it.

My one gripe, which brought my rating down, is grammar/spelling related throughout all four parts of the story. As an MC read it is a good story.
