Looks can be deceiving…
Hardheaded Junior Agent Cassidy Dancer has come face to face with the powerful, false prophet of the insidious Palma Christi Cult. Not what she intended. She’s always believed she was every bit as good and twice as tough as most men. Until now. Bound to Lucien Kane’s punishment board in his barn, she’s about to be disciplined. The iron brand is blistering hot. There is no hope in sight. Not this time.

He’s no hero…
Not Jude Cannon. He’s just an accountant and a desperate father. The only reason he’s inside the cult is to rescue his daughter. He can’t take chances, and he certainly can’t blow his cover to help the woman caught in Lucien’s evil snare. The woman with big, brown eyes brimmed with tears she won’t let fall. The one who needs a white knight on a white horse to ride in and save her. Jude is not that man. Is he?

Growing up in the countryside of Wisconsin, I always wanted to be a writer. I've dabbled in poetry, short stories, and more daydreaming than most. Way back when, I remember long Sunday afternoon drives with my parents where they'd
tell us eight kids to, 'Look out the window and see something!'

I've been looking out the window ever since . . .

In the great Northwest pines, I saw a woman who had nowhere to run find refuge in the arms of a tender warrior seeking his own road to healing.
In the hills of Wyoming, I saw a broken man who thought he'd lost everything
rediscover the man he was in the eyes of a pretty girl.
And in the Dairy State, (yes Wisconsin), I saw two people fall in love
and overcome horrific obstacles on their way to happily-ever-after.

Life is short. Pick up a good book. Read. Write. Enjoy.
Look out the window and see something!

Great Writer

Irish Winters is the best writer in this genre, hands down the best, unless you want lots of explicit sex and profanity. If that's your preference, look elsewhere. If you want high quality writing, well constructed plots with plenty of suspense and sexy romance and characters who are real , read this series. Even though each book is stand alone, begin with Alex and let the story build. I've read these twice, I'm up to Cassidy and I'm looking forward to the next ones. Enjoy!!

This is the 10th book in the series.

The heroine is a tough and trained law agent who had confidence in her abilities. However, when she’s knocked out and then comes to shackled down to a cross, she knows she’s in trouble.

Our hero is an everyday man with no special skills other than to track down where his wife and daughter are after they ran away from their life and marriage. He followed the signs to this place where he knows his daughter is figuring he’ll rescue her first and then find out where his wife, really his ex-wife, is. To do this, he had to become someone and be accepted into their new community.

The plot is an out of the box one where a cult is involved. It’s amazing just how much brainwashing people can have and believe such outlandish things and get sucked in. Our hero is sacred at every turn but knows right from wrong and is trying to live by those rules. This includes helping an unconscious woman who he seen taken into the barn where you didn’t leave from, so he had to help her. Once he helps, they set out to figure out this puzzle and alert others to what’s going on inside the place, but can they do it in time and before anyone figures out who they are? Will our hero’s daughter, and wife, survive? This is a different type of book in dealing with cults, but the author deals with the subject and information around it a great manner.

This is the 10th from this series, I'm curious to see what the next book brings.

Cassidy
In the Company of Snipers, Book 10
By: Irish Winters
Narrated by: Troy Duran

Irish Winters never ceases to amaze me with her ingenuity. I loved Cassidy! A strong, trained sniper, she does what it takes to get her accomplish he tasks, until caught by the Palma Christi cult. Just when she thinks she is done for, Jude steps in. Infiltrating the cult to save his daughter, he isn't going to let Cassidy get hurt. And now she can help him with the help of her team. But it's not as easy as it seems. This cult has a much bigger reach and a much more dangerous mission than anticipated. Will Cassidy, Alex and the others with Jude save his daughter and take down the cult? And the feelings Jude and Cassidy have, will the last outside the walls of the church? Winters takes us on a journey. The brainwashing, the faith, the greed, and the fear instilled in the cult is real. The imagery makes it easy to see and feel the craziness of their world. The strength of Jude and Cassidy make us root for the takedown and hope they get it all done in time! Suspense, romance, family and the courage of Alex's team bring us to the center of evil and bring us back home.

Troy Duran continues his narration of this fantastic series. He falls into his characters bringing their personalities to light. He is a master at keeping his characters consistent from book to book, and it makes the listen a pleasure to hear.

Cassidy and Jude

She should have waited. Her Rourke will be upset with her again. But she had heard them talk about Melissas. How was she to know there were two Melisas. Jude saw her being dragged/carried into the barn. He didn't know how but he had to help her. He was in this Cult trying to find his ex-wife and his daughter. They left her tied up. Jude tried to get her loose but heard them coming. He promised he would return.
This begins the most exciting story I have read in a long time. It is also alive story that covers love on many levels. Not just the romantic kind. From beginning to end you are drawn in the story and don't want to leave it.

This is the tenth book in the amazing In the Company of Snipers, a Romantic Suspense. Wow! This is a great addition to the Series! The storyline is enthralling, complex, suspenseful, action packed, and filled with danger, romance, and twists and turns. Impossible to put it down. I loved to see again some characters from the first books. The supporting characters are great. Troy Duran did a fantastic job with the narration. I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this Series. Looking forward to listen to Adam, the next book in the Series.

Best books from a great author

Irish Winters has the unique ability to storytell. I fell in love with her first TEAM book and have gone through them at a voracious rate. Her men are real...my fan so far is Jude though the book was about Cassidy. He's 'normal'. So if you need to embrace another author then let it be Irish Winters. You won't be disappointed.

Ten Stars!

I like this book as much as I like the first ( Alex). I love that Alex had such a center role and his soft side not that it showed...much.

A bit far fetched, and I wasn’t able to suspend my disbelief enough to get past that. But it was a fun, fast read for me, which is something I look for in a book.
