Not bad.
This book was just missing something for me. It didn't have much that happened, excitement, something that kept me wanting to keep turning the pages. Yeah they had a lot of sex, but there has to be much more. I was getting so tired of Christian constantly saying I just want you happy, safe, it's a nice thing to say, but not over, and over. Any word or combination of wording, that is constantly said gets annoying to most people. When reading anyways. I never want my reviews to be mean, just honest. This is just my opinion. Thank you, I am always happy to read all the books I can. Like everyone we all like some more than others.

The concept was great , the delivery was awful! You see there was these strange punctuation, for example.
But then, he knew that Grace didn't fully trust him even then- and she had reason to: Christian still had't been able to tell her...... ok why did you use a colon instead of a comma or something but a colon is used before you give a list of things: apples, oranges, etc.
She does this twice on the same page. Then she talks about Grace "bringing herself off" Did you mean getting herself off?
It bugged the crap out of me and I am sorry I did finish it but only b/c now it was like a " spot the mistake" game for me.
PLEASE re edit , re work it , and it could be a hell of a story.

Grace finds herself in a horrendous situation - her so called friend drugged her and is now auctioning her off to the highest bidder. Christian finds himself at a party where females are being auctioned to the highest bidder. When he sees Grace, his panther knows she is his fated mate so he purchases her. Grace is scared but Christian reassures her that she is safe. After spending some time recuperating at Christian's house, Grace feels a strong attraction to Christian. They go through a few twists and turns before they both accept their feelings for each other and have their happily ever after. The book could use some additional editing.

This is really actually the most amazing book I have ever read in my entire life!!1 The hot and steamy romance between the furry and the human girl made me wet. The thought of a panther disguised as a human just turns me on all the way. This book is really life changing for me. I have never read anything as beautiful and not disgusting as this beautiful piece of work. I hope one day I get kidnapped by a childhood friend and then sell me to a beautiful panther man. The end.

Grace has just met up with Liam, her childhood friend, after many years of him working far away. They spend a few weeks getting reacquainted with each other, but then the unthinkable happens! Liam sells her as a sex slave in an auction! Drugged and handcuffed, she's paraded in front of all the buyers wearing nothing but a skimpy outfit that fully flaunts her body. Just as the bidding is about to close, a new man enters the fray giving the high bid and wins her.
However, her new owner, Christian, has bought her for a reason- she's his mate. Christian is a panther shifter and had gone to the auction to see what's going on and shut it down! The first thing he saw upon setting foot in the room was his mate on the stage, so there was no price he wouldn't pay to get her out of there and safe with him!
But many things are standing in their way; Grace is terrified about what she can expect from her new owner, Christian is trying to get her settled, Liam is still on the loose and Miranda... Oh yes... Miranda. Just who the hell is Miranda? And what does she have to do with Christian? And then Grace finds out Christian's secret!
I've only given this book 4 out of 5 stars as, although it was better than the first, it lacked in certain details. For instance, there were no surnames attributed to the characters or locations, the finer points that could have made it better were missed out.

Trust!!
Grace was betrayed by someone she trusted, she was auctioned by her childhood friend to some not so nice people. But she was was saved by a beautiful stranger.
Panther shifter Christian knew that Grace was his mate the moment he saw her...He had to get her out of the horrible place she was in. When he found out about what was going on in his town, on his territory. He made sure to put a stop to that atrocity.
Grace was wary but Christian made sure she found her confidence back. As they spend more time together, he brought out the sassy, confident and naughty side of her. When all was said and done, they had each other's backs.
AUCTIONED TO THE PANTHER was a good read, it had my attention from the first line til the end of the book. Ashley Hunter did an excellent job.

This was a good little short story if you want a very fast but spicy read. It pulled me in from the get go and didn't let up but I had some problems with the story. One of my problems was that I honestly do not believe that a woman who has just been rescued from sexual slavery would just jump into bed that fast with the man who just bought her no matter how nice he seems to appear. I won't nit pick about the others mainly because I don't like giving away too many spoilers but overall this was a good read.

I am sorry but this story had such a great plot concept but didn't deliver in content. I didn't get hooked into the story, it felt very narrative in its style of communicating with the reader. The two main personalities didn't really have any real supporting characters to bounce off or increase the readers knowledge. I was starting to get whiplash from Grace being strong and resilient to weak and fearful. Sorry- great potential so a little disappointed

Not the usual slave story. This story while dealing with a very dark topic keeps most of it just on the surface. She does deal with some issues from being sold by someone she thought of as a friend however, this is more about the relationship between the main characters.

I wish he had gotten to Liam and made him pay for what he did to Grace. Miranda is a she devil and she is lucky the panther didn't eat her. I was laughing when she got scared.

Grace & Christian's story was a whirlwind of fast-paced action, lots of sex scenes, rescuing (her from being sold as a sex slave) & some shifting.
