This is a collection of interviews with women who took part in the German student revolt of 1968 or who were politically committed elsewhere at the same time. Most of the texts are intersting and highly revealing when talking about feminist aspects. They show that "the personal is indeed political". You cannot help admiring the intensity with which the interviewees speak about the past. It is both intimidating and inspiring. The only negative aspect about the book is that it is, as so many collections of interviews, quite repetitive. After having read four texts, you somehow get the picture.
