Lesley is a secondary school librarian, living and working in London, near Kings Cross. She studied French and Theatre Studies at Warwick University but a love of reading drew her into the world of books and after several years working in public libraries she moved into school libraries. Her job allows her to interact with young people, be creative and indulge her inner teenager.
Lesley attended a Creative Writing for Children course at City university, run by Keren David in 2012.
Lesley's first novel 'Her Sister's Voice' was recently awarded the Islington Teen Read Award 2014, voted for by school children in Islington.
