Morris the Mouse Hunter

Rate this book
Another lively story for beginner readers about this lovable cat. Morris is good at licking and purring. His mother wants him to be good at running and jumping, and bouncing and pouncing. For Morris is fattoo fat. Mom says "no more food until you have caught a mouse," but how will Morris ever catch a mouse when all he dreams about is food? But there's a mouse in the house whose mother thinks he's too fat as well. And until he's been chased by a cat, he knows he won't get thin. So Morris and the mouse come to an agreement whereby they get their food without even flexing a muscle! Wonderfully inventive text and perfect for beginner readers from this well-known author.
