WHERE THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S NO WAY TO WED

Department-store tycoon Alexander Fortune had become bitter about the unholy state of matrimony after four disastrous marriages. To protect his four sons, Alex dictated in his will that should any of his boys marry, he'd be cut off from the Fortune fortune.

Rebellious Truman Fortune had no intention of following his older brothers Adam and Peter to the altar. Then Tru got tangled up with Sasha Cheeseman. The sexy and exotic Russian was tantalizingly different--and safe. Sasha was already married. Tru knew he was getting into big trouble when he agreed to help her find her missing husband. The Cold War might be over, but things between them were heating up fast!

Uggh! Finishing this book was such a chore. This book was full of cliches, the storyline was horrible and the romance was ughh! So the heroine is Russian who married an American guy after 2 weeks of knowing him. He leaves & then she finds out he was possibly a thief. Does she go to the authorities, nope! She comes to the US and hires a PI. The hero's family help her coz her grandma & his grandma were friends. The writing was all weird & choppy! They call each other comrades (which I am guessing is coz of communism). They also had zero chemistry. The heroine just falls into bed with him. I also could have done without heroine thinking about how doing it with con-man first hubby (who is murdered) was oh so amazing as well.

True Love is the third book in the Fortune Boys series by American author, Elise Title. With his two elder brothers now married and excluded from Alexander Fortune’s fortune, Truman Fortune is in charge of business, although he looks more like a Hell’s Angel with his motorcycle and leathers. When Sasha Malzeva Cheeseman, a rather dowdy looking Russian, turns up at his grandmother, Jessica’s house, he finds he’s willing to help her find her missing husband because, being married, she doesn’t present any threat to his inheritance. But soon the electricity between Sasha and Tru leads to more than either bargained for. There’s plenty of action in this romance: kidnapping, smuggling of artifacts, murder, FBI agents, a safe house, and disguises, as well as some hot bedroom scenes. A fun read.
