Home Run: A Murder Conundrum

Rate this book
Troy, Ohio, attorney John Fulker is at it again. But instead of digging into a murder of long ago, he leads us down a more recent path, guiding us through the convoluted machinations of evil-doing as if he were part of the mystery itself.

Because he was.

Douglas Bynum, 32, never regained consciousness from a "blunt force trauma to the head" on July 11, 1999. But his death was not the end of the story, and neither is this book. For we may never know the truth about this Miami County legal enigma, years in the making. What we do come to know is that evil-doing is a craft with as many pieces as a patchwork quilt. And while Fulker and others find some patches, the seamstress roams free, making sure we never see the finished work, leaving us to forever

Did she or didn't she?

Very interesting book about the everyday work people do that sometimes reveals people at their worst and who real victims are.

Different from the prior books he's written but interesting in the fact that it happened in our area and is much more recent. I was able to look up people mentioned in the book on FB! A quick read and enjoyable because of the local connection.
