Found this on a shelf in a great bookshop on Zamaelt Island in Cairo. After exploring Israel and the West Bank, I thought a book about the indoctrination of Palestinian and Israeli youth could shed some light on the continuation of the conflict.

While many such inconsistencies might be expected, such as dilapidated schools in the East, compared to modern structures in the West, the overriding emphasis on the construction of Nationalism is shocking, from both parties. Within the same city, in the same school district, the PNA and the Israeli Government actively teach their students that not only do they have an enemy to constant fight against but that the struggle will inevitably involve sacrifice, namely of lives.
No matter what side of the issue you are on, it's hard not to see that something here is wrong when groups of young children, living as neighbors, are being taught to hate each other! This benefits no one, especially not humanity as a whole.
