Plymouth: A Light Enkindled

Rate this book
Destiney Ellsworth, a young Puritan girl, leaves the comforts of her home in Leyden, Holland, to set off with her family on a quest for religious freedom and a new beginning. But none of them know the dangers and hardships-even death-that lay before them in the New World. Judah Bennet, the captain's young indentured servant, is finding his first ocean voyage to be a great adventure-that is, until he uncovers a mutinous plot against the captain. A sudden twist of fate reveals a long kept secret of his past, and Judah suddenly finds himself plunged into a fast-paced and dangerous mission. 'Jamie's book will captivate your imagination, inspire your life and envelope your heart. It is a voyage of relentless hardship which is overcome with faith, love, and family. This truly inspires reflection and an appreciation for our personal blessings.' - Phillip Hoey

I read this book YEARS ago, and actually have a signed copy! I love it. You can really tell how much Ogle researched and loved the history that she wove into the story. I'm so super excited to see more books from this author!
