First of all, this book has some of the most beautiful illustrations that I have ever seen. There is so much to see and so much wonderment to the eye. The colors are bright and the illustrations are similar to Renaissance art. It's a beautiful story focused on Mary as the central figure with Jesus as a supporting character. From her birth, to Jesus's birth, to her wonderment of her son, to losing her son, we can imagine how she felt about these events in her life as a daughter, wife and mother. A great book to teach your children this story.

It was a good book. There is a lot of detail in the pictures. Mary has a son named Jesus. Mary and her husband Joseph had to leave their home because King Herod wanted to kill Jesus. They had to go to Egypt. Joseph was a carpenter. He taught Jesus to be a carpenter too. Then one day Joseph died. After a while they put Jesus on the cross.

This book is really good in my opinion. The book is about the story of Mary and how she lived when she had Jesus. The pictures are really brilliant and detailed and how the author describes the story is also really intriguing and interesting.
