To be spiritually mature is to both grow and show the fruit of the Spirit in our lives: the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control listed in Galatians 5:22,23. In these studies we see the fruit illustrated in the lives of characters from the Bible - the joy of the diciples at seeing their risen Lord; the faithfulness of Jehoshaphat when facing a huge enemy army; the self-control of David in resisting revenge on Saul.
This study was recommended by our pastor for a new small group we were forming. We were so excited to have such a comprehensive set of questions to allow us to dive deeper into the topic. Thankful to Hazel Offner for putting so much thought into this. It truly made us dig, both into the Word as well as ourselves.
I would totally recommend it for private or group consideration. You won’t be disappointed if you put the work in!!
