A different coupling

I understand and applaud her leaving Steven for cheating. She should not apologize for working hard for what she wants as far as he career goes. Nothing against dating two guys but sleeping with both without really knowing them was off for me. When they all came together and talked it made it so much better. Really wanted to see a bit more of this different take on dating and being with two guys and not having to choose.

Wow

Very good book & interesting twist on the poly romance. I'm happy Jamie wasn't a loser. She was beautiful, smart & capable. She was allowed to have pride & self respect so often in IR romances black women authors think their heroines have to be pathetic & self loathing with no pride for the romance to work. Jamie didn't have an inferiority complex & that's refreshing. I wish other authors took note.

I wasn't going to read another book until next year but I wanted something quick and that is what I got. It was a light fast interracial relationship read with a few twists. I did want to yell at the main female character - Jamie - quite a few times but overall the story flowed at a fast pace and made sense with the decisions that she made.

Umm yeah

So that was not what I was expecting at all. Instead of him or him it should have been him and him. Phil and Ben, my my. Some women can't get one dude and she got 2 scoops of vanilla goodness. High five Jamie!
