Rainbow Bunny

When young Deerfoot leaves his village to find the mythical Rainbow Bunnies, he steps into a world very different from the home in which he grew up. The Rainbow Bunnies are not only important to the beliefs of Deerfoot's tribe, but to Deerfoot himself. He has dreamed of them for many years, and is certain he will find them. Deerfoot finds his journey to be a nmagical one. Right away he meets Beshert, a white bunny who befriends him and seems to help him stay to the right path. And Deerfoot himself becomes a friend to a little turtle who has lost his shell and has become helpless. Later the turtle will help Deerfoot continue on his way, and as Deerfoot comes closer to his goal, other forest friends join in. In the end Deerfoot learns that friends are everywhere and come in all shapes, sizes - and colors. They help him home again, and some decide to stay to learn more about Deerfoot and his people.
