This is the first book I have read from this author. What a wonderful story.
Lenore Kimble was a curvy woman that did not have a whole lot of self-esteem. She thought someone as nice looking as Maxwell Walters could be interested in a girl like her. She was working a a museum that was getting ready to show a nice collections.
Maxwell was a tiger shifter that came looking for one thing and that was a sword. He never dreamed that he would find something more valuable which was his mate. Having her give him a private tour was perfect in so many ways.
Things do not go according to plan and they both end up in danger. Will Maxwell be able to keep Lenore safe?

So many tropes, the H is shifter, the human h has low self esteem, yet has an oral session with H same day they meet. Very little build up, they meet and try to get a special sword. Just not for me, too silly.

Loved it
Was filled with unexpected twists. Won’t spoil them for you. Once I’m finished with this review I’m downloading book to read. Need to know what is next.
Yes it’s a continuation but I don’t mind if it’s good and Author clearly states it is prior to purchasing.
I find the hero sexy and hot. Heroine funny and the way she copes and adapts is great.

This is the first time I am reading anything by this author and I must say that I am excited to see how this story unfolds. Though this is a short read I love the chemistry between Lenore and Maxwell! HOT HOT HOT!
From the second Lenore and Maxwell find themselves alone, their intensity is fever pitched. Lenore doesn't understand what Maxwell sees in her and Maxwell seems to be drawn to her instantly... Calling her his fated mate.
Though Lenore doesn't understand what Maxwell mean, she can't help the attraction she feels for him. He's sexy and mysterious.
Maxwell has secrets though, and he doesn't want to place Lenore in danger, but unfortunately danger finds them and it's up to him protect her.
This is a great start to this series. I do wish it was a bit longer, but I will be reading on as I need to find out what happens between this sensual couple.

Cute short story
Even though the story was short you got a sense of Lenore's personality. Maxwell's personality has not been fully explored but like most shifters I am sure there is more detail to come. I liked the threat of danger that was introduced early. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.

Cliffhanger ending. Lenore can't believe her luck when Max wants a private tour of the museum from her. But Max wants more than just a tour. Will Lenore give in to all that Max wants? Enjoy! I received a copy of this novella in the box set Fated, Fanged and Fantastic in exchange for an honest review.
