My Oxford Reading Tree Dictionary is an early dictionary, specifically intended to accompany the hugely successful reading scheme, Oxford Reading Tree. There are some 300 headwords, including all the key words from stage 1-5 of the reading scheme. Each word is simply and clearly explained,
and every word is accompanied by a colour picture drawn by Alex Brychta. This dictionary is aimed at 4-6 year olds.

Roderick Hunt, author of the successful Oxford Reading Tree, is the general consultant for this dictionary.

Clare Kirtley is an experienced writer for infants. She is the author of My Very First Oxford Dictionary, co-author of Rhyme and Analogy and is a consultant on OUP's new reading scheme, the Literacy Web.

Alex Brychta, illustrator of the successful Oxford Reading Tree, is the illustrator of the dictionary.
