Basically this kid's book about the making of movies tells them what they've already known since birth: ideas pop up for a good story to film, actors get cast, scenes are film not in order, then post production, etc, until the night of the big premier where everyone dresses up smoking hot to gush about how "awesome" or "amazing" the experience was to make this film, yadda yadda yadda. Of course the photos in the book miiiight make one ask questions. One photo is from Babette's Feast, only the scenery in the old kitchen, and forget the fact it's about, ummmm, different kinds of cuisine, let's say? One photo of Gene Hackman, who has never been known to like fans of any age, and Jennifer Lopez actually eating something while on break between takes for Maid in Manhattan (and JLo has never liked anyone other than JLo! Just ask Ben Affleck!) Nice way to intro kids into the business of movie magic, and helps them appreciate movies a lot more....but there are better, more honest books about Hollywood kids might wanna check out...soon as they're REALLY READY.
