Rob Liefeld is an American comic book writer, illustrator, and publisher. A prominent artist in the 1990s, he has since become a controversial figure in the medium.

In the early 1990s, self-taught artist Liefeld became prominent due to his work on Marvel Comics' The New Mutants and later X-Force. In 1992, he and several other popular Marvel illustrators left the company to found Image Comics, which rode the wave of comic books owned by their creators rather than by publishers. The first book published by Image Comics was Rob Liefeld's Youngblood #1.

He is married to actress Joy Creel.

I classify this book as so bad it's good. I read this thing twice and loved every second of it. It barely makes sense. It whisks from one setpiece to another at breakneck speed, and asks you to have some comprehension of the Youngblood/Liefeld universe in order to understand a few of the references. If you like comicbooks from 90s. If you like 80s action movies. If you like manly depictions of manliness, then give it a read. It's definitely a relic of its time.

And that is issue #4 down too. RIP Atlas.

Not a bad mini-series, probably one of the first I actually properly read after glancing over it in the last few years in my personal collection.

I am familiar with what comes next so I will hold my tongue on that front.

I loved this graphic novel. I happen to enjoy so much of it, including the art and characters like Battlestone and Thermal.
