Difficult to get through, I felt like I was being jerked from one interesting paragraph to the next without finishing the thought of the last.

I was a little disappointed by her style of writing - the constant jumping from one place or thought to another - and by the overall content of the book. I was expecting something else, more along the lines of Under the Tuscan Sun, which this was not. If you love Italy as much as I do, you might want to give it a chance. It did bring back wonderful memories of all of the treasures Italy has to offer.
