In 1992, the Earth Summit, a committee of 172 countries, met to discuss and formulate plans- Agenda 21- for the survival of planet earth. This is an edited and abridged version (but it has no author?) of these complex plans. It contains no debate. It does not tell of exactly how it reached this consensus. Or exactly how this will be universally implemented on a grand scale. It gives no scientific sources for its many, many assessments that it claims are based on science. On the surface, it looks so generic and simplistic. It interlaces - in a rather sneakily way- phrases like "the fragile ecosystem", "our fragile planet"....fragile,fragile,fragile .....

This book is quite informative, and more than slightly scary. For instance, if the population will be crowded into cities and forced to live in apartment complexes, they could become like rats in an overcrowded cage. An experiment of this sort was conducted, and it was found that if the rats had enough space, they got along well. If there were too many in the cage, they fought and killed each other.

As well, it states that the population will be decreased. How? It would seem that this process has already begun, with the new law on Medicare stating that unless a person over the age of 75 can afford a certain procedure, he/she will be denied that medical aid. Is this the start of something akin to a massive "cleansing" of our world, having those who need medical assistance denied such care and thus allowing them to die in possibly horrible pain? Hitler was kinder to the Jews, in my opinion, since they were at least murdered swiftly.

What really troubles me is that these matters are being implemented without the approval of the people, and that they are being touted as good things. Again, Hitler made great promises to the people in his country, and they, being impoverished and desperate for relief, believed him. I sincerely hope that we are not so blind as to believe all of the nonsense that we are beginning to hear, and that we still have enough comprehension to recognize a scam when we hear one.
