Essential reading if you are a fan of Colorado railroads. Every road name you never heard of is included, including private railroads. Tons of rare photographs.

Along with Colorado railroads: Chronological development, one of two books no serious fan of Colorado railroad history should be without. My Evernote entry on the book says simply,
The revised edition with the photos and concise history. Probably Definitely the only book I'd ever need to have 100% of the time.
While the book itself is 30 years old this year and not without flaw, it is still the indispensable book on the subject. I would love to have a nearly-new copy because the library's version is showing it's age and I have nearly worn out my library card checking it out.
