Seriously weak leading lady.
Mason becomes president drops the "love of his life" Clare. She hangs around the MC for many years, whilst living in a slum. He sleeps around, she watches. After many years he is no longer the president and goes to her house, tells her he is free and she is his woman - Insta together. Clare you are a doormat and pathetic - terrible terrible book. For a change I wish an author would have a strong leading lady that would tell the man to bugger off and he was become a shell of himself

This was a first reading Olivia Jones and will not be the last.

the chemistry between Mason and Claire was explosive.
Mason is a member of an MC when the come for him to make a decision the MC or love, Mason feels right now the MC us important, but when a rival crosses boundaries and that choice has to be made again which will he choose? I loved this book, I will definitely be checking out more books by Olivia Jones.

I received this for an honest review. This is the first book I have read of Olivia Jones. I just love MC books and this was an awesome book. It shows no matter what the circumstances that love can find a way.

Mason was a member of the Black Widow MC and after the Presidents death Mason finds himself taking on the roll of President. He felt at this time he had not chose but to let the love of his life go. He was getting attached to Claire and she was falling for him too. Mason felt that he could not do what was best for the club if Claire was there to cloud his thoughts.

Claire was in college. She had a brother by the name of Byron who was President of the Fires of Hell. The Fires of Hell and the Black Widows MC were enemies. Claire was the type of girl that let her brother rule her life. He told her what she could or could not do. There was hell to pay if she disobeyed. Claire tried to be good and spend her time just staying, but sometimes fate steps in and you take a different path. It is not long that Claire finds herself in danger and highly attracted to one of her captures by the name of Mason.

Mason and Claire have a long road ahead of them. You have to wonder if they will ever find their way to each other. Sometimes it comes down to what is more important in life. What is more important to Mason?

I'm extremely surprised at all the good reviews this book got. I managed to finish this book, but it was really out of my opinion that I keep an open mind when reading due to many directions the writer may or may not take to create an awesome plot. I don't believe this was even headed in any direction and hope that the author writing would progress and plot or storyline would be without holes. The characters had no realistic development and appears to be teenager language. The potential of a great story were there, but it wasn't brought forward to produce a solid story....

There were a few name mistakes which I normally overlook. I didn't like that the fires of hell were referred to as the blacks since the other MC name was black widows. Confusing a few times. Mason with china doll was a no for me plus giving Claire up. He could have kept her but still been prez. I wouldn't have taken him back years later after countless whores. Idk at least I'm finished with all of these and can move on to other authors.

Another great read. I loved the story of Mason and Claire. This story explains how the MC started for Black Widows. The chemistry between Mason and Claire is HOT! Even after so many years. Their love for each can withstand years of heartache and on and off again relationship. I loved their HEA ending. It's great story but wanted more. Olivia did great job.

Most of the book was about the "past" between Mason and Claire with very little build up to a relationship (just as the other books).
