This book is not what I thought it was. I recall reading the preview and thinking it was exactly what I was after; some hefty literature around Playmaker that could serve as a point of reference while I'm on the train. It ended up being an absolute beginner's course on Unity that doesn't even touch on Playmaker until about chapter 27. Objectively though, it felt entirely like the author's field notes as he developed a prototype game using playmaker, complete with all of the errors and mistakes that re presented as an opportunity to "debug". It just feels like it was created in a small bubble, which may work fine for fiction, but can be nocuous when it come to information. I didn't like it. I can't recommend it. For all this book is worth, you're better off just spending some time in Unity or Playmaker forums for answers. Or Stack Overflow.
